The book, which is now available for pre-sale, will encourage young readers to work hard in pursuing their own dreams. The champion racer collaborated with his wife Ashley, as well as author Andy Amendola to write the story, which will also feature illustrations by Wei Ren. The Mavs came into this game up 2-0 in the series and are looking to sweep the Timberwolves after taking a 3-0 lead in the series 116-107. <br/><br/>Dallas started the game off knocking down three three-pointers. They took the lead early and held that lead the entire first half. <br/><br/>Dereck Lively Jr. took a big hit from Karl Anthony-Towns knee to the back of the head. He was down on the court for a good three to four minutes before getting to his feet and heading back to the locker room. He looked very woozy when getting up and did not return for the remainder of the game. He was ruled out for a neck sprain. Following the win Luka doncic was asked about the injury and how the team bounces back from one and he said, “Injuries suck but they are a part of sports. Unfortunately it’s the next man up.” <br/><br/>Dallas took a 60-52 lead into the half. Their largest lead in the first half was 12 points. <br/><br/>They shot 47 percent from beyond the arc, knocking down 10 three’s in the first half. 53 percent from the floor and 18-of-19 from the free throw line. The Mavs were led by Luka Doncic who had 15 points at the half, Kyrie Irving was shortly behind with 14 points. <br/><br/>The loss of Lively really started to show in the third quarter. The Timberwolves started to win the rebound battle and Minnesota took their second lead of the game going ahead by two. <br/><br/>The loss of Lively was noticeable down low but Doncic and Irving were not going to let that stop them. Everyone talks about “fourth quarter kyrie” and it definitely showed tonight. <br/><br/>“How many points did he have in the fourth quarter?” Doncic asked the media after the game. “It felt like 20. He was born for these situations.” <br/><br/>Kyrie Irving finished the night with 33 points, three rebounds, four assists. <br/><br/>Luka Doncic finished the night with 33 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. <br/><br/>Both players combined for 66 points for Dallas. These two players are consistently scoring 50+ points per game in this series. This is the third time in the playoffs that both Doncic and Irving have scored 30+ points each. <br/><br/>“He’s patient. He’s calm. He loves Dallas. He loves this group. He mentors the other guy.” Head Coach Jason Kidd on why there is a debate that Doncic and Irving are the best backcourt in the league and why he thinks it works. Coach said that both are extremely good players but they know when to lean on each other in certain situations to get the job done.<br/><br/>Dallas will look to sweep the Timberwolves on Tuesday at home in American Airlines Center. Tip off is at 7:30.")

_half-of-americans-concerned-about-climate-change-devastation.webp "Half of Americans believe climate change will devastate the earth during their lifetime, according to new research.<br/><br/>The survey of 5,000 Americans, split evenly by state, revealed that 48% of all respondents believe they’ll live to see climate change destroy the planet.<br/><br/>Respondents in Hawaii were the most likely to agree (66%), with Vermont (59%) and New Mexico (56%) rounding out the top three states most concerned about the effect of climate change in their lifetime.<br/><br/>Washington (55%) and Minnesota (54%) were fourth and fifth, respectively.<br/><br/>Commissioned by Avocado Green Mattress and conducted by Talker Research, the survey also asked respondents if they believe climate change will have a greater impact on their state, versus other states.<br/><br/>Hawaiians were again the most concerned, with 61% believing climate change will be worse for their state than others — this time, followed by Alaskans (55%) and Californians (54%).<br/><br/>Those in Louisiana (53%) and New York (49%) were also concerned about the impact on their state.<br/><br/>Regardless of where they live, 65% of respondents wish they could do more to be environmentally conscious in their day-to-day lives.<br/><br/>“Our experiences, including where we live, have an understandable impact on our worries about climate change,” said Laura Scott, Director of Brand Marketing at Avocado Green Mattress. “That's why learning about the ways we can protect the environment in our local communities is a great way to get involved and see firsthand the change we're making.”<br/><br/>Some respondents admit, that despite taking environmentally conscious actions — they’re not doing it for the good of the planet, but rather, they’re doing it for a more selfish reason.<br/><br/>The survey revealed that 37% of respondents are taking environmentally conscious actions solely because it helps them feel like a good person.<br/><br/>But maybe their reason for taking environmentally friendly actions doesn’t matter: when asked if the intent of their actions or the end result is more important, 33% said the result — with 50% saying both were equally important.<br/><br/>And regardless of why they’re taking environmentally conscious actions, 32% said doing so helps them to sleep better at night.<br/><br/>Half of respondents (47%) said taking care of the environment helps them to take better care of themselves — but others find it exhausting to worry about the environment.<br/><br/>Results also revealed that 10% feel taking care of the environment means they don’t always have time to take care of themselves.<br/><br/>“Taking care of yourself and our planet are harmonious,” said Christine Carpio, Sr. Manager, Community + Social Impact at Avocado Green Mattress. “Choosing eco-friendly products that nurture your well-being ensures your rest and relaxation don’t come at the expense of the environment. The key is making choices that make you feel fulfilled.”")
