Sergio Aguero was back in a Man City kit on Wednesday - and didn't take long to square up to an opponent as his team lost its opener at The Soccer Tournament.<br/><br/>The Argentine, 36, retired in 2021 due to a heart condition but returned to the pitch for the 7-on-7 tournament on Wednesday leading his aptly-named Aguero FC.<br/><br/>But it wasn't the return to sky blue he would've hoped for as his team fell 6-3, with the Argentine star coming face to face with an opponent from Say Word FC in the second half as tensions rose.<br/><br/><br/>Aguero and the opponent appeared to exchange some tense words before Say Word's goalie stepped in - before one of the forward's Team Aguero teammates escalated the situation by pushing the opponent Aguero was clashing with.<br/><br/>The legendary striker attempted six shots in the match but failed to score as Say Word notched a surprising win in front of a smattering of City supporters.<br/><br/>While Aguero is the only ex-City player on his team for the tournament, the English club is certainly involved with his participation there.<br/><br/>Aguero's team entered the field in the club's 2024-25 kits, and a display behind one of the fields features the Premier League trophy and a picture of Aguero's iconic title-winning goal vs. QPR.<br/><br/>The squad will play once more on Wednesday night before facing off against former Man United star Nani and his Nani FC on Wednesday.<br/><br/>The Soccer Tournament, in its second year, awards a $ 1 million winner-take-all prize in both its men's and women's brackets.<br/><br/>This year, squads, representing Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Burnley, Inter Milan, Villareal, and Wrexham have traveled to North Carolina to compete. <br/><br/>Former NFL star J.J. Watt even suited up for Burnley (which he part-owns with his wife, Kealia), while Marco Materazzi and Guiseppe Rossi took the field as well.

_palestinian-street-artist-taqi-spateen-creates-mural-in-glasgow.webp "A street artist travelled from Palestine to Glasgow to unveil a brand new mural inspired by his 'precious' homeland over the weekend.<br/><br/>Taqi Spateen brought his artistic talent to the city and created a large-scale mural in the east end - with its exact location on Stevenson Street near to Barrowlands Gate.<br/><br/>He collaborated with Ciaran Glöbe, one of the artists behind the fake Banksy which appeared near Buchanan Street last June, to bring his vision to life and will work with other local artists across the UK.<br/><br/>The artist is liasing with fellow creatives about the plans, both logistical and artistic, for the murals being created.<br/><br/>Graffiti art is a major cultural force in Palestine. In August 2005, UK street artist Banksy and his team painted seven large murals on a section of the 440-miles-long West Bank Wall, also referred to as the Separation Wall. Since then, the wall has gone on to become a hotspot for the graffiti scene.<br/><br/>Taqi has created many murals on the wall including 'The Boy with the Goldfish Bowl' - showing a child with what is left after the destruction of his childhood home - a series of portraits of George Floyd, and his collaboration with the brand The North Face 'Walls Are Meant For Climbing'.<br/><br/>Now creating and exhibiting internationally, he draws inspiration from the Palestinian countryside, particularly the olive tree, one of the most famous of all Palestinian symbols.
